About

We started InsureVise because most insurance content online is written to sell you something.

Search “how does car insurance work” and you’ll land on a quote form before you’ve finished reading the first paragraph. That’s fine if you already know what you want. But if you’re actually trying to understand your coverage — why your premium jumped at renewal, what “actual cash value” means versus replacement cost, whether you need an umbrella policy on top of your homeowners plan — you’re mostly stuck reading marketing copy dressed up as an explainer.

InsureVise doesn’t sell insurance. There’s no quote form here, no referral links, and nobody pays us to point you toward them. Our only job is explaining insurance clearly enough that you can make your own decisions about it, without an agenda attached to the explanation.

In practice, that means we check what we publish against primary sources — state insurance department rules, NAIC data, published policy language — instead of rewriting whatever’s already ranking on Google. Insurance rules shift more often than people expect, so when something changes, we go back and update the page rather than letting it quietly go stale.

We cover the questions that actually come up when people deal with insurance: what the different coverage types mean, how a claim actually gets processed, what happens if a policy gets canceled, what’s worth asking before you sign anything. No upsell waiting at the bottom.

[Optional — add a founder’s note here if you want a named voice behind the site: who you are, why you started it, what your background is. Only include real details — don’t fabricate credentials.]

If you find something on the site that’s out of date, unclear, or just wrong, we’d genuinely rather hear about it than have it sit there. See the Contact page.
